gw abis nonton Sherlock dan gara-gara di film itu watson disuru sama psikiaternya ngurangin stress dengan nulis blog, gw jadi terinspirasi lagi. HAHA iya itu artinya gw juga stress. engga sih, enak masih libur, tapi emang iya gw libur? namanya manusia ya kadang kebal gabisa belajar dari kesalahan. taun lalu uda tau summer school malesin, eh taun ini ikut lagi aja loh. bedanya, taun lalu ngaruh banget seengganya nambah portfolio, taun ini stok panadol gw jadi abis semua. udah, i'm boring myself talking about summer class, jadi ayo ngomonginnya sisi bahagianya aja dari summer taun ini.

weekend #1

(maaf kalo kesannya bahagia cuman eksis di akhir minggu)

kita terbang! ini ini ada yang konyol. pesawat yang kita naikin (namanya dirahasiakan, gaenak kan diketawain terus) diliat dari kanan kiri juga ga ada yang nandain kalo pesawatnya bakalan berlogo..

HATI! maaf ga santai, cuman norak aja. gw masi inget motonya.

lalu baliklah kita merayakan hari libur di berkeley. (dan ssstt.. weekendnya nambah sehari!)

weekend #2

kita ngebus! minggu kedua nonton warped tour di mountain view. nyelundupin slr karena kamera pocket gw rusak. semoga suatu hari nanti statusnya bukan nyelundupin tapi undangan buat jadi press ya, amin!

oh serunya, bisa duduk di rumput. berasa nonton festival. ( ... )

terus kalo uda gatel kita ikutan moshing.

engga deh, gaya amat gw. yang ada juga keinjek, ukuran tubuh gw termasuk hobbit cebol disini.

kita kebagian tandatangan om ganteng juga lho meskipun sebenernya gw gatau itu siapa (tapi aku mau belajar mengenal kamu kok om ;p) tapi babad super demen jadi kita kejer deeh.

dan pas finalenya nonton simple plan, ada om-om berkaos weezer bediri di depan kita yang super semangat kayak baca puisi. percaya deh, tiap lirik ada gerakannya. kalo liriknya ada dis atau not nya pasti tangannya nyilang. kalo liriknya ada think nya tangannya nunjuk kepala. kalo liriknya bertanya tangannya dua duanya kedepan terbuka kayak memuji tapi itu maksudnya bertanya (ngerti lah ya?). kalo ada yang artinya 'gue messed up' dia garuk garuk kepala dan emosi sama dianya sendiri! bravo pak! nah buat yang satu ini, kayaknya pierre lagi berheil hitler di panggung.

besokannya, pagi-pagi kita janjian makan shabu dan minum verde bareng enji dan bocom, makhluk mt view yang sombong tidak mau pulang indonesia. hiks, maunya disamperin deh.

abis itu, cabutlah kita ke SF. main deh sama tessa ke pier 39 nungguin fireworks sampe tengah malem baru abis itu balik sekolah. harapan gw untuk kedepannya: semakin banyak waktu santai kayak gini dan semakin sedikit summer school. oke?

belom berapa lama sih gw ngerasain tinggal disini. tapi new york city uda menorehkan kesan berbeda dari jakarta. ya pasti deh ya.

summer kemaren ada beberapa ketidaknyamanan gw rasakan disini.

pertama. gw kehilangan id card sekolah ini. kayaknya sih ketinggalan, tapi uda telat banget hari itu masuk buat kelas dan gw uda sampe di depan pintu sekolah ini. jadi gw bertanyalah kepada satpam cewek di gedung 1. 'mbak mbak maaf banget ini ya id saya hilang kayaknya dan kelasnya uda mulai. kira kira saya harus gimana ya', mbak itu melihat gw dengan sinis (gatau deh gw ngelebai apa engga saking keselnya) 'dont you know where to make the id?', gw nanya lagi 'tapi kelasnya uda mulai mbak, bisa masuk dengan cara lain dulu engga ya kira kira', dan mbak itu menjawab lagi 'make the id first. dont you know the place to make that id?' oh crap. 'emm.. engga tau mbak' (padahal gw tau, orang baru buat kemarennya mbak) 'really you dont know it? it's on the syubidudamdam...' sorry gw uda ga denger lagi. oke deh mbak gw buat. jalanlah gw ke gedung 2. titip tas ke temen gara gara kelas uda mulai dan krusial buat datang tepat waktu. sampe di gedung 2 gw liat ada satpam cowok nih sekarang. 'permisi mas saya mau buat id karena id saya hii...', langsung nyamber masnya 'WE ARE CLOSED TODAY' kali ini ngeliat gw pun enggak. 'tapi mas, saya ga bisa masuk kelas tanpa i...', 'SEE THAT SIGN? WE ARE CLOSED TODAY!' FINE MAS FINE. akhirnya karena ga ada cara lain dan gamau nanya kemana mana lagi, gw jalan balik ke dorm gw yang jaraknya sekitar 40 menit bolak balik. ternyata emang gw teledor sih, cuman yaaa..

kedua. lagi field trip ke museum. terus karena uda selesai buat tugas di dalem, gw dan dua anak lainnya berencana untuk mencari tempat untuk sekedar duduk dan bersantai. karena kita gatau cafe deket situ adanya dimana, bertanyalah kita ke mas mas yang lagi ngobrol di pinggir jalan dan sepertinya mereka bisa provide information ke kita karena pake seragam kayak polisi atau apa deh itu. 'mas kira kira cafe deket sini dimana ya?', dia menjawab 'what? cafe?' sambil ngeliatin kita atas ke bawah. 'iya cafe, mau cari minuman mas', dia ketawa (beneran ketawa ketawa sama temennya) sekarang 'well.. actually this is like the most expensive street in the usa. i mean in the world. so i dont think you guys will find one that appropriate for you here. just go to downtown.' OH SHUT UP. harus dandan kayak miss universe mas baru boleh cari cafe disana?!

dan pengalaman yang baru saja terjadi..

gw sama rai baru balik dari dorm orang, dan abis kita melintasi lampu merah ada dua bule mainan jaket dibentang bentangin di depan kita. gw lewat aja ke sampingnya, tapi iya sih emang mereka kayak ketawa ketawa mau nangkep nangkep gitu. well, rai kena. dililit jaket mereka ke rai. (apaa.. maksudnya..) gw nengok dong 'mas! apaan nih temen saya kok..' mas pertama ngomong 'well, stay with us for 5 minutes and we'll set you free.' kira kira begitulah. mas kedua ngomong ke gw 'you wont leave your friend will you, so come here.' HEH?! rai uda bingung sendiri 'apaa? saya ga ngerti deh mas ngapain!' sama lah tampang gw juga uda 'lepaskan jaket dan tanganmu dari temanku tersayang hey orang asing!' tapi ga lah ga sesinetron itu. jadi kita deal sama dia, stay for 5 minutes. obrolannya.. garing. tapi pas kita uda mau balik saking bingungnya, mereka mulai menjadi jadi. 'dont leave us! we just want to have friends to go somewhere. if you guys leave us we will go straight to bed and we dont want it' peduli amat mas, tolong. who are you anyway. 'maaf mas gabisa, besok ada sekolah pagi pagi.' mas pertama berakting. 'oh pleaasee you broke my heart!' mas kedua mulai deh 'you know, at first we saw you across the street, we just wanna kiss you and hahaha sorry gua ga inget lagi saking anehnya omongan ini' well, gw ga bisa ngomong apa apa lagi selain 'apa apaan sih mas? kita kenal aja engga!' raissa balesnya kocak lagi 'mas ga mungkin mau sama kita la, kita juga bukan tipe cewek mas pasti. banyak yang lebih cantik disini!' mas pertama 'noo we dont want other people, just youu! we want you! dont break my heart' eeeeeh.. rai kontan teriak 'YOU ARE SO GOMBAL' cari sana arti gombal sendiri. dan mas kedua bertambah aneh 'really, i tell you, i just wanna have sex tonight and now i feel so shy HAHAHA gua lupa lagi FREAK yang pasti' PLEASE boy, gw langsung 'ga mas ga bisa kita harus pulang sekarang, bye.' dan berdua, gw sama rai ngibrit balik ke dorm. oh Tuhan, what kinda life is this.

ga peduli banyak yang ga suka atau outspokenly bilang dia idiot atau big headed man, WELL at least dia membuat banyak hal yang menarik yang bisa gw nikmatin (ga kayak bule di depan The Met yang bisanya ngatain orang ga appropriate buat jajan di the most expensive street in the usa UPS in the world deh *masih dendam*) so JJ take me as your intern, pleaseee..

beberapa alesan kenapa ketemu jj adalah hal penting dalam otak gw saat ini:

#5 karena gw baru beli majalah EW dan disitu diliput acara Comic Con di San Diego beberapa waktu yang lalu dan hal yang paling ngebuat gw gregetan adalah ada JJ disana. i choose him instead of meeting other hot actors on that event. REALLY. (err.. cepet ganti baris andri sebelum lu cabut omongan lu sendiri!)

#4 karena gw selalu ga bosen nontonin setiap behind the scenes dan special features dari semua film arahan dia yang gw tonton, yang kebanyakan isinya komentar dan cara berpikir dia yang ngebuat gw penasaran. a lot of questions to goo, om!

#3 karena LOST jadi tv show pertama yang gw ikutin full dari season 1 sampe 6 dan selalu gw tungguin tiap taunnya. dan uda gw ulang berulang kali sampe sekarang ini.

#2 karena waktu gw berpikir ga mungkin bisa ngedapetin tv show yang seadiktif LOST; gw disuguhi kenyataan bahwa projeknya setelah itu ternyata ngebuat gw nyari bajakannya (salahin akses di indonesia yang ngebuat bajakan adalah hal terdepan dalam dunia pernontonan gw) dari sabang sampe merauke (jelas berlebihan). coba aja tonton Fringe atau Alias. nonton serinya membuat gw bahagia. hahaha!

#1 karena gw belom perna ketemu dia.

semenjak retret itu rasanya jadi banyak banget yang ditonton! sampe lupa apa aja yang uda ketonton. maka dari itu, mari sini kita me recall semuanya. (tut tut tuut telepon yang anda tuju sedang tidak aktif atau berada diluar service ar... APA SIH!) -tapi maaf kalau tidak disertai review yang memadai.hahaha

1. Bruce Almighty

uda cukup lama ya. tapi tetep seneng nontonnya, soalnya pas retret. rame-rame sama temen lebih seru! and anyway, Jim Carrey reminds me of I Love You, Philip Morris. kapan tayang disini, sayang?

2. Les Misérables

ini juga. tema GPMB dari PSUMB waktu pertama kali saya ikut main di dalamnya! wihii. coba baca novelnya, panjang sih tapi dalem. tenang aja, meskipun dalem tapi ga bakal tenggelem kok. and for this one, Liam Neeson is the one who make me think 'i really need a mcgregor'!

3. Patch Adams

uda nonton beberapa kali sebelum retret, tapi film yang ini selalu oke buat ditonton. satu hal, laughter is contagious! sangat carolina handjaja sekali. selamat! oh- Robin Williams membuatku mengenang Robots. sudahkah anda menontonnya? coba perhatikan robot bernama Rodney Copperbottom. sangat menggoda!

4. Freaky Friday

siapa sih yang belom nonton film ini? film yang membuat kita berpikir betapa okenya kalau Lindsay Lohan begitu terus keadaannya sampai sekarang. sehat jasmani dan rohani. ah sotoy aja gw.

5. The Day After Tomorrow

BOOM! tenang aja Indonesia, kita selalu ga disertakan di film-film kiamat seperti itu kok.

6. The Ugly Truth

seburuk itukah kenyataannya? hmm. yang jelas berbohong bukan awal yang baik dalam memulai suatu hubungan. tapi bohong ga selamanya buruk sih. buktinya, ga dapet dokter malah dapetnya Butler. siapa yang ga mau sih.

7. Penelope

menghabiskan waktu pelajaran kosong dengan melihat James McAvoy bukanlah suatu dosa. ayy! ceritanya agak aneh di bagian akhir, tapi ya cerita fantasi romansi gini mau digimanain lagi sih. McAvoy. McAvoy. McAvoy!

8. Adventureland

not as good as i expected. but i love Kristen Stewart more on this than on Twilight. hahaha New Moon bentar lagi keluar ya. semoga lebih baik daripada pendahulunya, amin. meskipun Robert Pattinson akan tetap menjadi Robert Pattinson (dimana mengingat dia membuat saya mengingat blush on).

dan.. RYAN REYNOLDS! AUUUra iri dengan mrs. Reynolds.

9. 2012

KIAMAT SUDAH DEKAT! not as bad as i expected!

kata orang visual efeknya ga bagus. engga juga kok, 100 persen diatas Twilight atau Indiana Jones RotLA (tapi indi ini film jaman kapan ya) atau Misteri Gunung Berapi, mungkin.

kata orang ceritanya klise. ya emang uda pasti begitu, kalo John Cusack nya ikutan mati dari awal kan jadi ga ada daya tariknya. (buat gw, maksudnya)

kata orang ngebosenin. tapi toh 6 studio di PS hari ini penuh semua dari sore. gila ya. premiere aja sold out dari jam berapa tu, gila. gila. gila.

eh tapi kan, lagi lagi Indonesia ga disinggung singgung. kesimpulannya, tahun 2012 nanti, semuanya mari kita visit Indonesia! dijamin aman dari bahaya kiamat; tapi tetap waspadalah dengan para buaya!

it's time to get back to the reality!

i just bought the dvd; i thought it was the show, but i was wrong.

it's just the documentary BUT after i watched it, i really REALLY want to go to vegas and watch it live, as soon as possible.

firstly, we went to

NTU. BIG. NTU IS BIG.

in front of the school of materials science and engineering

at the library. those are 2 prospective pintu. (stands for Pelajar Indonesia NTU, if i'm not wrong)

at the library again. (i think this one is way better than the other one at the engineering area. bagian teknik KAKU banget meh!)

our day started at 2 pm today. and when mendy woke up, suddenly she insisted to go to a place.

house of condom! she really wants to go there. but she's only 11 years old. poor mendy..

dinner with yuli bekha tiblo at Paragon. tiblo membabibuta!

kita berjalan kaki malemnya pulang ke apartemen. keep sporty stay healthy meh!

sebentar banget rasanya hari ini lewatnya. seriuss deh.

advice : don't waste your time to sleep when you're on holiday!

after that trip to the unreachable galaxies, we went to Sentosa Island.

and we had so much fun in the island (even though it will be better if we could go to the island with my lincoln six-echo)

at Fort Siloso

(we saw many WWII collections there!)

oh! sandy bought this amazing hat. i was so norak -i've never seen something like this before

(1) it is something that could catch the solar radiation, i think, and it makes (2) works. WOW. (sorry i can't explain any further than that. haha but it's cool. beneran, kayak oasis di padang gurun. APA SIH. )

they are great soldiers. trust me.

the title means nothing, haha. (but it's quite funny, today is sept 11, 11 p.m. and this is my 11th post. great.) i remember there's one of my friends who really believes on that thing. yeaa maksud gw jam berangka sama gitu. EVERY TIME dia liat jam misalkan aja 12.12 atau 07.07 atau berapapun juga itu, dia pasti langsung ngucapin 3 permohonan. katanya sih bisa terkabul. dan katanya juga dia langsung berasa tenang abis ngucapin. yak, segitu ngaruhnya. funny, isn't it? i tried it several times, especially last december, when we, PSUMB, prepared for GPMB. gw sih akan selalu ngeliat ke arah jam waktu TC. hahaha berharap cepet istirahat banget rasanya. dan sering banget rasanya angka dobel gitu terjadi. BUT well, i don't think my wishes really come true. maybe not yet. i hope so. errgh please God make those dreams come true. ~lama lama memaksa. haha anyway, do you believe in such thing like that?

so. today. i spent a day with my friends to find some presents. we also watched a movie, which i want to tell you now.

yes, The Hangover! i read several reviews about this film and it's funny. a bit different from what i've expected before, but it's still good. 4 men spend a night in Vegas for a bachelor party, and when they wake up the next morning they couldn't even remember a thing about the night. oh, they also lose the groom, who has a wedding on the following day. i thought there were some people arranged all of the chaos to get them into troubles, but i was wrong. the tag line is very clear. some guys just can't handle Vegas! haha. see this, you won't be disappointed.

yep.. we're going to another book review today.

The Associate is about a young man named Kyle McAvoy who has a perfect life and promising future. not just good-looking and smart, he is a very bright student in Yale Law School. he has great parents (even though they divorced already) and a nice girlfriend. everything seems right until one day he meets these guys who claim themselves as FBI agents. those men know some secrets from Kyle's past that could destroy everything -his career, his dreams, even his life- and they will use that secrets to ruin him, unless kyle agrees to do some stuffs for that so called FBI agents. ∼and so on.

it's great at the beginning. i couldn't even stop turning those pages. but i really hate the ending. it doesn't solve anything!

-or maybe i just don't get it, i don't know,

i just give my opinion- but i still think it's just not how the story should be ended.

anyway, i'm still eager to see the movie version because Shia LaBeouf will be on it and for me, it's just a perfect role for him like, he was born to be this Kyle!

my day began at 6 in the morning, but it feels like it actually began at 3 pm.hha

we -tika, nyo, jb, tere, and other friends- went to grand indonesia to watch something. in the end, we agreed to separate, so nyo, tika, and i saw The Proposal, while jb and the others watched CIN(T)A.

then... wait. see this before we continue.

yeaaaa The Proposal is fun. and don't worry, you'll get the invitation when i'm getting married with Ryan Reynolds. guaranteed!

so, it's about this guy who could do nothing but accepted everything that his boss told him to do, because he needed the position and he loved his job so much. one day, margaret tate -his devil boss- got a problem. she saved herself from deportation by blackmailing andrew paxton -yeah, that guy- into marrying her so she could stay in U.S. and... i bet we know the end of the story. it's predictable and it's kinda cliche, just like the other romcom movies, but after all, we do need a romantic comedy film just like this to brighten up our hard days. haaarddd dayyyyssss... and this one is really sweet!

even nyo is getting more and more up after she saw this. (up-usia panik) hey nyo, you have to remember you already have your own andrew! this time it's my turn! haha

watch this one if you like other Sandra Bullock's movies, such as Miss Congeniality (oh i really love this one, i've watched it for more than 10 times!) or maybe Two Weeks Notice. they're great for their genre!

then, we walked to EX and watched Endah N Rhesa live. They were really AWESOME. totally awesome. i tried to upload the video here but sorry i can't make it. grr.. they are very talented and i envy them pretty much. i want to learn guitar!!

just finished this book, and i highly recommend it!

it's about a little girl who has this 30-year-old imaginary friend named Michael. Michael promises her that she'll instantly forget everything about him when he leaves her at her ninth birthday. of course, Michael can't stay forever. he's no more than imaginary friend, right?

the unexpected thing is, she never forget him. and years later, in her thirties, they meet again. this time, things are different between them.

well.. just read it.

it's a nice story, really!

h-n, suasana di dalam kelas xii ips 2

rebek banget ngias kelas, tapi seru sih. jadi kayak pesta ulangtaun di dalem kelas gitu haha padahal kita nyambutnya ulangtaun opa-oma gini (64 tahun kan)

dan ini dia kelas kitaaa... taraaa...

hari h

tanggal 17 agustus ada upacara di sekolah. anak mb main, jadi gw datang sangat pagi ke sekolah. sanur jadi sangat asik kalo malem atau pagi hari. gatau kenapa, suasananya teduh dan super nyaman. yaaa.. abis itu sekelas semuanya pake pita merah putih. haha untung jaman sekarang di sanur uda ok ya pake suatu hal kembaran rame-rame gitu. dulu gw diceritain, anak-anak berinisiatif kembaran pake pita pink waktu valentine alhasil malah dipajang di sepanjang tangga sma sama suster mantan kepala sekolah kita. tercinta. haha yang paling heboh anak ipa yang barisnya di sebelah kelas gw! buset, pake dasi pramuka yang merah putih itu sekelas! uda gitu yang barisan belakang semuanya ditambahin bandana dari dasi merah putih juga di kepalanya. hari itu berlomba menjadi nasionalis ya semuanya. bagus. semoga ga hanya secara fisik doang, tapi niatannya juga. yeaaaah happy anniversary indonesia! dan buat bocom, selamat ulang tahun yaaay!

merdeka!

daan masih ada yang belajar kelompok pulang sekolah. konon hari ini merdeka, besok kembali terjajah lagi *dengan banyaknya ulangan, dan bahkan ada yang susulan, menjadikan jadwal untuk 18 agustus seperti ini : ulangan matematika, fisika, dan susulan biologi. HAHA yang semangat ya!

sedangkan gw... memilih buat nonton abis pulang dari sekolah. rencananya sih mau nonton Merah Putih tapi apa boleh buat waktu kurang mendukung, akhirnya gw nonton G.I. Joe bareng tika & tania di senayan city. ternyata.. filmnya lebih ok dari yang diperkirakan. menurut gw jalan ceritanya lebih bercerita daripada Revenge of The Fallen. dan overall juga lebih lebih sedikit dari Terminator Salvation. jadi ceritanya tentang sekelompok orang yang mau nguasain dunia pake senjata ampuh penghancur segala dan dicegah oleh sekelompok tentara yang menyebut dirinya G.I. Joe. lumayan kok. gw jadi kangen nonton film Brendan Fraser lagi abis ngeliat dia bercameo disini. ga keitung berapa kali gw uda nonton The Mummy hahahaha seru. ooia mas-mbak senci kompak banget. lucu banget pake seragam kayak petugas paskibra! liat deh lucu..

setelah menonton selesai, gw beralih ke kempinski. mau ngeliat Twilite Youth Orchestra disana. keren banget! dan selama perjalanan di mobil, nyokab ga berenti-berentinya nyanyiin lagu-lagu perjuangan.

17 agustus tahun 45, itulah hari kemerdekaan kita

hari merdeka, nusa dan bangsa, hari lahirnya bangsa Indonesia, merdeka

sekali merdeka tetap merdeka, selama hayat masih dikandung badan!

maybe there are lots of people say this movie is awful but.. don't believe them that easy. this one is spectacular! at least for me :)

it's a musical. full of singing and dancing. it's about prostitution. night life. and above all, it's about love! a major reason why i love Moulin Rouge! very much is because when i first watched this film, i had to pause play pause play pause and play in so many times! i was 12 at that time and i didn't want my mom to know that i watched this film-haha Nicole Kidman acted bitchy in the first half story and so it looked like a challenge for me to watch it.secretly. it became more interesting than it should be, i think. and the other major reason is Ewan McGregor. he's just wonderful.

anyway. dc made a birthday party and she used this as the theme. pretty. hahaha

last weekend.

after finished the never-ending personality test at school, we went to komeng's birthday. yiiihii! just see this one, our useless effort -hiding mendy..

but well. it was so crowded -javaaa rockin'land was held at the same time-, so when our car entered ancol they didn't check it again. soooo, just had to pay only for 3 persons! (in fact there were 5 of us) ;p

yeaah, we were the first guests! and we didn't think we have to use the spare time we had to take a bath. haha anyway.. komeng looked great that night! yeah her face expressions would never be changed into somewhat elegant -am i wrong, banana?-, but i think all of them are priceless! and gorgeous. :)

we had a really fun time! emon, raissa, tika, and i tried to search for some flowers and balloons to make something for komeng HAHA we even stole those flowers.. reallyy SORRY A&W!

WE LOVE YOU KOMENG! i really hate the fact that you are going to australia next month. we're gonna miss you so bad, dear :))

the UPstairs

last friday, we ended up at plaza indonesia extension and finally watched UP! yeah!

i barely want to see animated films at the cinema. really, it's just Finding Nemo and Ice Age, i think.

i don't like animation that much. hey, they aren't even human! but, after i watched this one, i think i was wrong. this movie has everything!

it's about a man who married his childhood friend and had a dream together to travel and build a house in south america. i won't tell the complete story, you have to watch it by yourself! my friends cried during the film, well, it just showed us that this movie has a heart. a perfect combination; great story, brilliant effects, strong characters, and alsothe superb music score by Michael Giacchino! i love him! you should check Lost as well, i couldn't even blink my eyes when i watched that series *beheehe

and... wait. before that we ate at pancious. tiblo and nini were very lucky -they could eat so many things because the rest of us couldn't eat too much. later, if you wanted to eat at an all-you-can-eat restaurant, you should bring them. seriously, they could spend the money well.
